UPDATE: Reopening of Torres del Paine National Park, Chile

Following the widespread forest fires a section of the northern area of the park has now reopened which will allow access to a number of trekking route but at this time not all of the sites we usually visit will be accessible.

Our trips from Santiago to Ushuaia (v.v.) usually spend 5 nights in Torres del Paine. We are hopeful that we will still be able to spend a similar amount of time there despite the fires although at present the Chilean authorities are limiting visitor numbers.
