Wanderlust World Guide Awards - Nominations close February 5th!

We can hardly believe that it was a whole year ago that we started asking for your nominations as to which tour guide you felt deserved some recognition for going the extra mile during their trip. Well, it's come around again fast - and we need your help!

As you know, our very own  Gaetano Barone, did himself proud, being shortlisted out of 3,000 nominations and scooping the silver at the final award ceremony thanks to YOUR votes.

The awards, which started in 2005, are the only global awards of their type to formally recognise - and celebrate - outstanding individuals who have the capacity to transform a good trip into a great one.

Not only are they a great boost to the individual and the team behind them, but the prize money offered to the three finalists can help to change the lives of local communities for the better. (Gaetano, for example, is currently in India and Nepal researching which communities or existing local projects are most in need of financial and practical support).

Nominations close on February 5th (yikes - that soon!) so PLEASE, if you'd like to say 'thank you' to any guide who has made your trip extra special,  spare a few minutes to fill out the form.
